ATG Access ™ were contacted to supply a product that would secure the square from traffic during normal school hours but which could be removed and stored separately when the school bus arrived in the morning and early afternoon.
Telescopic bollards were not an option due to an underground car park restricting the depth available to dig down.
We suggested Removable OPTI 114/670 Bollards for the two entry and exit points and OPTI 114/670 Static Bollards for the intermediate areas.
Stainless steel was chosen to compliment the previous ATG Access ™ project in Duke of York’s Square and to meet the clients requirement for a contemporary look.
We also supplied matching bollards to protect the footpath area and the area next to the car park lift doors in the square.
