Postal vehicles were struggling to park near the St Andrews Street post office in Cambridge at peak traffic times and this was compromising the efficiency, safety and security of postal deliveries and pick-ups.
The solution was to provide a restricted parking area directly outside the Post Office and to police this with retractable bollards.
As manufacturers, ATG Access ™ were able to offer aesthetic solutions which would be in keeping with the surrounding architecture.
The bollards were also fitted with ATG Access ™’s unique lift assist mechanism which removes 70% of the lifting weight of the bollards and enables them to be operated by all members of post office staff.
