 Oxfordshire County Council had decided to open up a previously closed through road as a one way bus only route and required a traffic management system to ensure the roads integrity was not breached by unauthorised through traffic.
The council also wanted the option of changing the direction of the traffic at a future date or of opening up the road to buses in both directions.
A single ATG Access ™ VP200 automatic rising bollard now stands sentry at the road end, this system offers the perfect solution as it has the option to be controlled in either or both directions with only minor changes to the operating system and no requirement to disturb the installation.
