Protecting critical national infrastructure and the general public from a vehicle bomb attack is a critical area of focus for most security consultants across the globe. ATG Access concentrates on engineering innovation within this area and leads the market in security vehicle barrier technology.
A recent industry leading seminar hosted by ATG Access in the British Embassy, Dubai aimed at discussing current issues within the security industry. The topics on the agenda included correct product specification, how to assess your sites risk level and how to tackle the complexity of global vehicle barrier standards.
Gatekeeper Security and a renowned security consultant joined ATG Access’s team to present on topical issues.
The event brought together a delegation of around 40 key members of the UAE security
industry, ATG Access’s President Glenn Cooper and our MD, Mark Clegg.
Also joining the event was ATG Access’s local manufacturing partner who have enabled ATG Access to remain very competitive in the Gulf region on both price and product lead times.
The seminar was a prestigious occasion and marked ATG Access’s commitment to future and current Middle East projects. Working with the British Embassy Dubai was symbolic as it has become obvious that British product standards within the security industry in particular and British design is certainly welcome.
Leading product testing programs in the UK and large national events such as the London Olympics 2012 have excelled British engineering design for the physical security industry and has produced a wealth of new technologies such as surface mount technology, temporary high security and rapidly deployed barriers.
British companies like ATG Access can now take this wealth of expertise, British standards and project experience to international security markets and help advise clients through events like our recent security seminar and exhibitions such as Intersec, Dubai and Milipol, Qatar.
