Installing Access Control Bollards for James Osborne Contractors

A new residential estate built by James Osborne Contractors in Tarvin, Chester needed both access roads securing to prevent unwanted vehicles from parking.

The estate is situated adjacent to a busy supermarket which has limited parking. Unwanted vehicles were parking within the new residential estate and making both parking and access troublesome for the new residents.

Access roads run both in and out of the residential area meaning that vehicles were treating the side street as a cut through disturbing the small estate and blocking entrances to garages.

ATG Access was approached directly by James Osborne Contractors to help restrict access to the area. VP50 automatic bollards were specified due to their aesthetically pleasing finish.

The VP50 Automatic Bollard was designed for residential security making it the ideal choice for securing the housing estate from unwanted parking.

The number of operations required per day was minimal as the housing estate only consists of 5 houses. Residents requested to operate the bollard system using a simple key fob control.

James Osborne installed the system and ATG Access engineers attend site to complete the electrical commissioning.

The residents can now enjoy a quieter and safer estate as a result of the installation.
