ISE 2018 Proves Huge Success For ATG

Our Specification Wall

The International Security Expo 2018 has come to an end, closing the door on perhaps our most successful security exhibition to date.

Taking place over two days at the London Olympia, the exhibition hall was flooded with attendees ranging from government officials to security specialists.

The reason? The UK’s largest gathering of security suppliers and industry experts from the world of physical and cybersecurity.

The hall was a sight to see, with stands of all shapes and sizes, containing the cutting edge of security products.

As the UK’s biggest security expo, ISE 2018, was a great opportunity for ATG to make a statement as the leading supplier of bollards, blockers and barriers.

To do this, we went with a rather ambitious stand design, building a ‘specification wall’ of all our products.

The aim of the wall was to show how comprehensive our product line is, as we’re one of the few physical security companies that can secure an entire city with its products range. In total, we have tested and certified over 45 products.

Each box held a postcard with the products technical information for people to take away.

Not only did the wall prove a huge success with attendees, but also drew positive comments from other stands.

Surface Guard Secures the International Security Expo

Our stand wasn’t the only place you could find ATG products though, as our Surface Guard was on full display both inside and outside the hall.

Deployed by our installation partner StadiumTM, the Surface Guard was used to secure the outside of the Olympia, protecting attendees entering the expo.

This was the second year that our Surface Guard has secured the event, and yet again it made a big impression.

We had lots of interest at our stand from expo-goers who had spotted the Surface Guard on their way in.

Even those that may have missed it as they entered still had a chance to see the innovative barrier system first hand as it was also on display at our new installation partner CSP’s stand.

ATG’s High-Security Products On Display

Perhaps most exciting of all though at the International Security Expo 2018, was the urban spaces demo in the centre of the exhibition centre.

Designed by Buro Happold, the urban spaces demo featured products from a select group of security suppliers.

It was one of the big talking points of the event, and it was an honour to have three of our products chosen as part of the scenario.

Along with our Surface Guard barrier, we featured a selection of our shallow mount bollards and a bespoke, street furniture bench.

Throughout the day there were tours of the urban space feature highlighting the different products and giving the attendees a chance to see them up close.

Annual Quiz For A Good Cause

The International Security Expo 2018 wasn’t just about displaying our products, as it was also a great opportunity to catch up and talk with old friends and other figures in the physical security industry.

In what has become an annual tradition, when the ISE expo doors close for another year, ATG holds a special quiz to raise money for charity at the Hand & Flower.

This year was no different as a swathe of industry experts had their general knowledge put to the test and all for a good cause.

The quiz proved a huge success, managing to raise £700 for Macmillan.

Overall, International Security Expo 2018 closed out the year as one of our most successful events and one we’ll be sure to return to next year.

In the meantime, we have Intersec, Dubai and the Security & Policing Expo lined up for the start of 2019.
