One of ATG Access’s most popular products the 101 670 Telescopic Bollard is insurance company recommended; easy to operate, install and service.
The 101 670 Telescopic Bollard is one of ATG’s most popular products. Insurance company recommended it’s easy to operate, install and service.
The 101 670 Telescopic Bollard offers an attractive design making it ideal for garage protection, domestic driveways or car parks. This retractable bollard comes in a galvanised finish as standard, offering a more industrial look. Alternatively, it is available in black or any RAL colour specified. This means you can pick the most suitable colour for your property.
All our telescopic bollards are fitted with ten pin radial integral locks. To operate the telescopic bollard, you simply turn the key in the lock, twist the handle and lower gently into the outer casing. The lid can then be closed and vehicle access is possible.
To secure and restrict vehicle access again you lift the lid, twist the handle, lift the security post into the ‘up’ position and then push the lock down with your thumb. As well as the retractable bollard the 101 670 is available in a removable version, which is ideal for areas with a high water table or where installing a full outer casing would be difficult.
There is also the 101 670 Fixed Bollard to provide complimentary perimeter protection; giving you a complete security solution. Overall the 101 670 Telescopic Bollard is an efficient and cost-effective way of protecting your driveway, car park, shop or other commercial sites.
In locations with a high water table, it may be advisable to consider removable bollards as opposed to fully retractable bollards. A high water table can vary due to seasonal changes so we are unable to guarantee that the outer casing will not hold water to some degree. If you are concerned, please don’t hesitate to contact ATG.
Please Note: If ATG Access Engineers are installing your order, it is the customer’s responsibility to provide suitable facilities for the disposal of all excavation materials as a result of the installation. For up to two bollards a spoilage bag will be suitable, more than three bollards a skip will be required, size dependant on quantity. If this is not possible, ATG is able to organise a skip on your behalf for an additional cost per skip dependant on local charges. Please bear in mind on larger installations more than one skip may be necessary.
Installation costs provided may differ should the initial excavation of ground uncover any unusual/unforeseen site conditions. In this instance, should additional equipment or time be required additional costs may be incurred. However, ATG will communicate this and seek authorisation prior to proceeding with the works.
Security bollards should be installed with a soak away area around the base of the outer casing as standard to prevent the retention of water.
