It is the home owner’s responsibility to ensure that there is a suitable power supply (socket or fuse spur) within 8 meters of the proposed bollard location before ATG Access or a contractor begins the bollard installation. Power supply can take the following forms:
o If you have electrical lights already in situ within your driveway, you could ask an electrician to use the existing power supply to create a fuse spur or socket.
o If you have an existing power socket within your garage which is located within 8 meters if the bollard position, this can be utilised to run the bollard system.
o If no power supply exists within 8 meters of the wall-mounted cabinet; you will need to ask an electrician to create a fuse spur or socket to run the bollard system.
A 13-amp, single-phase supply is required to connect to the wall-mounted cabinet. The wall-mounted cabinet must be located within 8 meters of the bollard system. If the bollards are to be positioned more than 8 meters away from a wall-mounted cabinet, the motor cables will need extending at an additional cost.
A 13-amp, single-phase supply runs a maximum of 4 bollards. If you require more than 4 bollards, speak to us about the power supply requirements
Delivery to site is included; 1-3 bollards require one pallet; 4-8 bollards require two pallets.
The delivery vehicle will have a tail lift, plus a hand truck. It is the driver’s responsibility to unload and position the pallets at your specified delivery site.
Your bollard system will be controlled by a handheld, radio key fobs. Two are supplied with every system. The key fob contains two buttons; button 1 = lowers the bollard system; button 2 = raises the bollard system.
